Hello. My witty introduction skills are lacking this morning so, instead, I would like to ask you guys a question. Who designed your snarky little smiley logo? It's really clever and I absolutely love it.

You guys are the best, seriously, and I'm glad to be a member of this forum despite its lack of activity.

Oh, and you guys really won me over with your The Gods Must Be Crazy references. That's kind of a weird thing to be brought in by, but I really like that movie and I've only met one other person outside my own family who has even heard of it.

Hey there! I, Tracy, designed the logo. I'm glad you like it! We're glad to have you around, even though the forum's kind of dead. Well, it's not quite DEAD... we do post progress updates here pretty regularly. It's like when toads slow their heart rate down to almost nothing and freeze solid through the winter. Anyway, it's good to have somebody sign up who isn't a perverted Russian spammer.  Smiley

Oh, and I'm glad you like our references. We try to include a wide variety of obscure references to make the few people who know what we're talking about happy. Someday, somebody's going to understand our "That's why I made new Papa John's _______ pizza" jokes, and on that day my life will be complete.

BTW, there is some entertainment to be had on the board. The "Battle of the Trashes" and "FEEL BETTER the game" threads are quite humorous.

Wait. Is there, like, a secret ingredient to the Papa John's pizza joke that confuses people's palates? (Did I take that metaphor too far?) I thought you were making fun of those commercials he used to do where he introduced his new sort of pizza. There were commercials like that, right?

Ah, I'm usually the one explaining why some jokes (by some, I usually mean mine) are funny so I totally get what you mean when you say your life will be complete when someone gets it. There's that "Oh yeah! Give me a high five, man!" moment when someone gets it that's so awesome.

Well, it's one specific Papa John's ad (I think). They're playing football for some reason and this one guy's like "Who wants to go deep?" and Papa John is like "I do! That's why I made new Papa John's Deep Dish Pizza". So we do that after anybody says "I do!".

Um. I think I recall that commercial. But, I don't recall it being so, um... dirty.

Who wants to go deep? Seriously? I don't know. It's probably just me.

So, your life was not made complete today because I was not one of the enlightened few that got that reference completely. But, one day, Tracy. One day someone will get it and comment on it. It's a big world out there, you know. And it's full of people who get things.  There are a pretty good amount of people who like QuipTracks and have seen old football oriented pizza commercials. What is it that mama always said? She said Poppa was a rolling stone? No, that's not it. There'll be days like this? No, that's not it either. Oh, she said you can't hurry love, you'll just have to wait.  And, by love she meant the understanding of obscure TV commercial oriented jokes. Of course.
